Emperor Angelfish Juvenile (Pomacanthus imperator)

One of the most stunning marine fish, known for its vibrant coloration and regal presence.
    •    Distribution: Indian and Pacific Oceans – from the Red Sea to the South Pacific islands.
    •    Size: Up to 16 inches (40 cm) as an adult.
    •    Habitat: Coral reefs and rocky areas with plenty of caves and hiding spots.
    •    Diet: Omnivore – feeds on sponges, marine algae, shrimp, and specially formulated angelfish diets.
    •    Aquarium Care: Requires large aquariums (minimum 180 gallons), live rock, excellent water quality, and strong oxygenation. Not recommended for beginners.
    •    Reef Safe?: Not reef safe. May nip at corals, anemones, and invertebrates.
