Sailfin Tang (Zebrasoma veliferum)

Known for its dramatic dorsal fin and striking stripes, the Sailfin Tang is a showstopper in any large saltwater aquarium.

• Distribution: Indo-Pacific – from the Red Sea to the central Pacific

• Size: Up to 15 inches (38 cm)

• Habitat: Coastal reefs and lagoons with plenty of live rock

• Diet: Herbivore – feeds on marine algae; supplement with nori, spirulina, and herbivore pellets

• Aquarium Care: Requires a large tank (minimum 125 gallons), excellent water quality, and open swimming space. Can be territorial with other tangs
